Yo Sariska!!

So, finally, I also can tell people stories about my excursion trip. Yeah, this was indeed my first, and it was really rocking. We started at around 1345 hrs on saturday, after the mathematics test, after the lunch, after taking permission from our warden sir /* yeah, it was all legal this time*/. The journey was about 4 hours, which itself was a real fun. The surrounding hills were really eye pleasure, as we got closer to alwar, which is 36k from sariska. Few kms ahead, we halted at a place /* you can have a look of it in the photo*/ I dunno what exactly it was, but we loved the landscape and there was a little water /* you cant call it river*/ around where we enjoyed watching turtles and our ancestor monkey-the-great.

Then we proceeded and the surrounding got even better as we approached sariska. After a lotta roaming around, thanks heaven, we did found a motel sort of thing to stay, which had in total 3 rooms, and we booked them all. Later on we realised that there was no need at all. Coz for the whole night, we were playing "Mafia", it's really a nice game. We enjoyed it the whole night. We planned to start our 'safari' at around 0800 hrs on sunday, so, took a little rest for 2 hrs and then checked out. We reached our destination at 0800 sharp. So, this was the thing we were waiting for. It was a tiger reserve, but there were no tigers there at present. So, all we could had prayed was for leopard and cheeteah. K lets first, enter the jungle Now let the pics speak a few things. That's sambhar

Run Lola Run

Now that's maa ka pyar No, we dint got to see any leopard or cheetah either. We just saw footprints of hyna /* as per the driver*/. And apart from the above animals, we got to see neelgai, jackal and wildboars. I cant tell u how many birds we saw. Well, but i must say more than the animals, we enjoyed the landscape. This was first of its kind, atleast for me. It was really amazing when we climed the hill, in gypsey, on so called 'kuchcha raasta'. Somewhere there was so much slope that we had to get down and push the vehicle up. And as we got to the top, there we had a place called "Pandupol" /* I hope its spelt correctly*/. For that we had to walk about 2 kms further upwards. But it was really worth it. Its actually a waterfall, but there's no water at present coz of the hot weather. There we enjoyed a little bit of rock climbing. From there we returned back to the base quickly coz of time constraints. The driver took us from the "pukka raasta" this time, so we dint had much chances to get to see laopard or something, u can see them only while you are driving on "kuchcha raasta". Back to the base at 1130 hrs. We all were hungry, we had just a cup of coffee since morning. So, next destination, some kinda dhaba. But this one was really difficult. We also planned to see forts in Alwar as well. This was a good news for some of us and a bad news, atleast for me, the fort remain closed for public on sundays. Yeah, after 5 hr journey, then a night out playing mafia, and then the safari, without a break, it was all really taxing. Ok, lets move on to our next stop. There were no dhabas around, before we got to a Rajasthan Tourism resort. It was around 1300 hrs, between Sariska and Alwar, built near a lake. We got our tummies filled /* well, not exactly*/ and then we went for boating in the lake. We initially planned to visit this lake a day before, but we missed it on the way that time. So, here we go three pedal boats. We planned boating, but it seemed we did rafting when we got out. And even here, not to forget the beautifull landscape. Yeah, this is Rajasthan, our beautiful Rajasthan. Well, after the boating-cum-rafting we were really tired and on sunday we have no other option, everything is closed in alwar, the forts and the museum. So, only option, our hostel sweet hostel, Pilani. We got back at around 2000 hrs. What an amazing trip it was. Hey, the thrill and adventure was far more than the description. U cant expect artistic description from me atleast. Some of my friends enjoyed "Mafia" the most, But I really enjoyed the park, yeah, landscape more than those herbivores and the jackal. Or in simple words it was : TARGET ACCOMPLISHED SUCCESSFULLY. This, no doubt, was a big HIT. My sincere thanks Rwitajit, for the brilliant snaps. // I have 512MB of the stuff
